"What does organic mean?"
The word organic can have many different meanings. In the food and farming industry, organic is defined by the lack of chemical fertilisers, pesticides and other artificial chemicals used in the production process.
In the world of beauty the word organic can often be misused, but at Affinity Organics®, all of our products are created using organic ingredients. This means that we use ingredients that have been grown and processed with no pesticides, fertilisers or GMOs.
When organic products first began to gain popularity within the beauty industry, some sceptics believed that organic products were less effective than non-organic products. However, from our own rigorous testing we believe that our products can achieve the same results, if not better, than non-organic products. That combined with the rise in popularity suggests that organic products are absolutely as effective and hold a strong place within the beauty world.
The difference between "organic" and "natural"
It’s important to note that while our products are both organic and natural, these are two very different things. Natural means that the ingredient is derived from nature. In some cases, even when buying natural products you cannot guarantee that the ingredients have not been grown and processed with harmful artificial chemicals. However at Affinity Organics we combine the two, to bring you only the best natural and organic products.
